Typeface
For data visualisations we follow the general brand guidelines and recommend the Calibri font family. It is a highly legible sans serif typeface that displays well both on screens and in print. It has proportional and tabulated numerals that make it especially appropriate for use in data visualisations. It is installed by default on most Windows devices and comes with a wide selection of weights to choose from.
Colour
Text on visualisations is displayed in black, on a white background. If using a different colour of text is required for your visualisation, limit your colour selection to primary blue or dark blue from the brand guidelines to ensure optimal contrast. For text displayed against a dark background, use light grey from the brand guidelines.
